Jacob G. Miller

Associate Attorney

Jacob Miller is an associate in the firm’s Health Care, Corporate, and Real Estate/Finance practice groups, where he focuses on transactional and regulatory matters affecting post-acute and long-term care providers, including skilled nursing facilities, personal care homes, assisted living communities, home health care agencies, and continuing care retirement communities. Mr. Miller assists clients on licensure and regulatory compliance matters at both the state and federal level, including change of ownership (CHOW) applications, Department of Health submissions, Medicare and Medicaid enrollment issues, related operational considerations, and compliance with HIPAA and federal fraud and abuse laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute.

In addition to his regulatory work, Mr. Miller has experience in assisting in transactions involving real estate and public finance, including borrower-side representation in financing and refinancing options. As a licensed title insurance agent, Mr. Miller assists with closings in connection with health care and other commercial real estate transactions.
