Andy is a member of and leads the firm’s Employment and Labor Law Group, Litigation Group, and the Workers’ Compensation Defense Group. He counsels clients on day-to-day employment matters such as ADA, FMLA, FLSA, DOL issues and routinely litigates employment discrimination claims, unemployment compensation matters, and workers’ compensation claims. Andy also handles all other varieties of clients’ litigated matters from collections to landlord-tenant disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Andy worked in both private practice and the corporate sector. He has litigated cases across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Maryland in both state and federal courts including employment discrimination, unemployment, workers’ compensation, collections, medical malpractice, general liability, premises liability, insurance bad faith and coverage disputes, copyright, landlord-tenant, and contracts cases. A graduate of Widener University School of Law and Messiah University, he is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Maryland and is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
Andy has delivered lectures and presentations on workplace topics for clients, as well as at trade shows and conventions for organizations such as LeadingAge PA, the Pennsylvania Health Care Association, PACAH, PADONA, and Kairos.
