Latsha Davis & McKenna, P.C. to Co-Present a Session at Pennsylvania Bar Institute's (PBI) Exceptional Children's Conference entitled: "Special Education and Charter Schools" Monday, October 30, 2017

Latsha Davis & McKenna, P.C. is pleased to announce that Nicole D. Snyder, Esq. will be co-presenting a session entitled "Special Education and Charter Schools" at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's Exceptional Children's Conference on Monday, October 30, 2017, to be held at Lancaster Marriott Hotel.

This session will also cover recent developments in special education law as it applies to charter schools and cyber charter schools. The panelists will also discuss the developing case law and practices related to a closed charter school's outstanding FAPE and attorney's fees obligations, who is responsible for what and to what extent. The panelists will then go over the steps can be taken so that each child receives the FAPE to which he or she is entitled in an efficient, non-adversarial, and cost-effective manner.
