Tanya
Daniels Harris is an Associate in LATSHA DAVIS YOHE & MCKENNA, P.C.’s
Harrisburg office.
Ms. Harris was born in Chicago, Illinois. She received
her Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at
Austin. She was the recipient of the Texas Achievement Award from
1991-95 for her academic achievements, leadership and potential
for excellence. Ms. Harris received her Juris Doctorate from the
University of Pittsburgh School of Law and also received a
Certificate in Health Law upon graduation. She has been admitted
to the Pennsylvania Bar and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar
Association, Health Care Law Committee.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Harris was an associate
at a Philadelphia law firm where she practiced environmental law,
toxic tort litigation, and insurance defense. She also worked as a
clerk at the Department of Public Welfare, Bureau of Hearings &
Appeals, where she obtained valuable experience and adjudicated
appeals involving child abuse expunction and the denial of Medical
Assistance and food stamp benefits.
Ms. Harris concentrates her practice in the area of
healthcare law, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement,
compliance issues, survey and enforcement, and long-term care
regulatory and licensure matters.
