Shawn P. Kerns is an Associate in the
Exton office of Latsha Davis Yohe & McKenna, P.C. Mr. Kerns
received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University
of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business. He received his
Juris Doctorate from the Villanova University School of Law in
2005.
Prior to his association with the firm, Mr. Kerns lived in
Washington, D.C., where he participated in antitrust, merger and
patent-defense litigation as a legal assistant. While at Villanova
Law, he participated in externships at the Chester County Court of
Common Pleas under the tutelage of The Honorable Phyllis R.
Streitel and the United States Attorney’s Office in Philadelphia.
Mr. Kerns has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court
of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of New Jersey, and the United
States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and
for the District of New Jersey. He concentrates his practice in
the areas of environmental litigation, unemployment compensation,
workers' compensation, charter school law, and special education
law.
