Attorneys Serving Post-Acute Care Providers in Pennsylvania, the Mid-Atlantic States and Beyond

Subject to frequent and dramatic change, today's health care industry is marked by ever increasing regulatory complexity, decreasing reimbursement, and shifting demographics. We offer our clients the knowledge and experience needed to navigate this challenging and dynamic regulatory environment. We recognize that the efficient and cost effective delivery of legal services is essential to our clients. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, our attorneys provide outstanding quality service that is pragmatic and business-oriented. We maintain a strong relationship with regulatory agencies and public officials at both the state and national level.

Latsha Davis & McKenna, P.C., provides legal counsel regarding various issues that affect a wide range of post-acute health care providers. Our Firm's particular areas of health care practice include our representation of Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC), Nursing Facilities, Personal Care Homes and Assisted Living Facilities, Long Term Care and Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals (LTCH and IRF), and other post-acute providers. Our attorneys are conversant in the regulatory nuances affecting each and every type of post-acute provider.

We provide guidance on a broad range of issues, including corporate compliance development and training, contract negotiations and review, collections, corporate governance, false claims act violations, fraud and abuse, government investigations, HIPAA and health privacy and security, licensure, litigation, managed care, medical staff peer review law, real estate, reimbursement and provider payment issues, resident agreements, transactions, survey and enforcement, and tax exemption. We also represent individuals in professional licensure matters.

Attorneys at Latsha Davis & McKenna, P.C., are heavily involved in legal and health care organizations, especially in organizations affecting post-acute providers. The resulting connection with a network of policy leaders and health care professionals gives us in-depth knowledge of state and federal laws that affect long-term care facilities. We serve as general counsel to LeadingAge PA, the trade association for nonprofit homes for the aging in Pennsylvania.

Our practice areas are more fully discussed on the ensuing web pages.
