Nicole D. Snyder is an associate in Latsha Davis Yohe & McKenna,
P.C.’s Exton office, where she joined the firm in 2002.
She received her J.D. from Villanova University School
of Law, where she received the Theodore L. Reimel Distinguished
Service Award for her work with the Moot Court Executive Board,
and received her Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in English magna
cum laude from Villanova University, where she was a member of The
Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Snyder clerked for the
Honorable Bonnie Brigance Leadbetter of the Commonwealth Court of
Pennsylvania. In law school, she served as a judicial intern for
the Honorable Juan R. Sánchez (currently with the U.S. District
Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania) while he then
presided over matters for the Chester County Court of Common
Pleas.
Ms. Snyder has been admitted to practice before the
Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court
for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States
District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the
Supreme Court of New Jersey, and the United States District Court
for the District of New Jersey. She is a member of the
Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Ms. Snyder concentrates her practice in the areas of:
charter school law, education law, and special education law. She
defends clients in matters pertaining to state and federal laws
and regulations, including IDEA and Section 504 of the
Rehabilitation Act of 1973. She routinely trains and advises
school personnel and boards and assists in the development of
legally compliant policies and procedures.
Ms. Snyder is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar
Association’s Legal Services for Exceptional Children Committee.
She has presented at seminars and conferences throughout the
Commonwealth on special education and education law topics,
including seminars at the PBA’s Exceptional Children’s Conferences
and the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools’
Conferences.
