Our attorneys are experienced in representing both insured as well as self-insured clients in administrative civil litigation regarding remediation cost responsibility for Superfund sites, private cost recovery actions and toxic tort cases. The Firm has served as liaison counsel for defendant groups in CERCLA §§ 107 and 113 cost recovery actions as well as in toxic tort cases. Our toxic tort experience includes cases involving industrial chemicals, benzene, lead, and TCE, among others. We have represented clients in environmental matters in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including class actions. Since CERCLA and the New Jersey Spill Act are strict liability statutes and impose liability without fault, we aggressively pursue other potentially-responsible parties. Finally, we assist businesses in coordinating environmental audits.
