Shawn Kerns is a member of the Education, Environmental and Litigation practice groups. He concentrates his practice in the areas of education law, workers compensation, insurance defense, environmental law and general litigation. Mr. Kerns routinely advises, represents and defends schools in matters litigated at the administrative and appellate levels, trains and advises school personnel and boards, attends board meetings and assists schools and other organizations in instituting legally compliant policies. He advises regarding and litigates matters concerning Pennsylvania’s Right-To-Know Law and has vast experience regarding public records access issues along the Mid-Atlantic states involving OPRA, FOIL, FOIA and other laws pertaining to a citizen’s access to public records. Mr. Kerns is also a frequent panelist and lecturer at Continuing Legal Education Seminars for the Chester County Bar Association Environmental Law Section.
