Angela L. Thomas is a member of
the firm’s Employment and Labor Law Group. Her practice
concentration is employment law and litigation. Ms. Thomas advises
clients on wage and hour issues, affirmative action,
discrimination matters, hiring practices and terminations, policy
development, labor relations, and executive compensation matters.
She has handled employment litigation before administrative
agencies, as well as in state and federal trial and appellate
courts.
Ms. Thomas graduated from Penn State University with a
Bachelor of Science in Economics and has a Juris Doctorate from
the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Ms. Thomas is admitted to practice before the United
States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District
Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the
Pennsylvania Supreme Court. She is a member of the American Bar
Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Ms. Thomas has lectured at the Harrisburg Area
Community College and has taught seminars for Lorman Education
Services, Inc.; the Capital Area Society for Human Resource
Management; the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers; the
Pennsylvania Tourism and Lodging Association; and the Council on
Education in Management. She is Secretary of the Board of
Directors for the PROGRAM for Female Offenders, Inc.
